Who uses life coaches?
Anyone can, and does, use life coaching. For example:
- People who are seeking direction and purpose.
- People who want to get over their fears.
- People who are at a transition point in their lives and are looking to take steps that align with their personal values and beliefs.
- People who want to get more out of their lives.
- People who want to find balance.
- People who want to reach their goals.
- People who want to pursue their passions.
- People who are willing to do the work to change their lives.
How does coaching differ from therapy?
It is important to recognize the differences between coaching and therapy. Therapy concentrates on emotional trauma and past events. Coaching is focused on the present and is designed to help people get focused and make conscious choices to get them from where they are now to where they want to be.
Is this service confidential?
Yes. These services are absolutely confidential.
What do you work on with a coach?
The goal of a life coach is to help you find your own answers. Since each client is different, the areas you wish to cover to help achieve your goals will depend on you.

How is coaching structured? (i.e. Over the phone? Sessions?)
The coaching relationship begins with the “Foundational Session” This session is done in person whenever possible and lasts 1 1/2- 2 hours. This session provides the basis for the coaching relationship. We’ll take a thorough look together at where you are now and begin to explore where you want to be.
The ongoing sessions occur 3 times a month and last 40 minutes each. These sessions take place over the phone, but can occur in person upon request.
A three month commitment for the coaching relationship is required.
Is there a written agreement, or a contract?
Yes, a coaching agreement, with an accompanying information packet, is provided and will be discussed in the foundational session.
What does it cost?
Liz offers a sliding fee scale. Please contact her directly via email or phone to receive a price quote based on your current economic standing.
Additionally Your Coaching tax could be tax deductible! Expenses of continuing education undertaken to maintain and improve business and professional skills may be tax deductible. (Treas.Reg.1-162-5. Coughlin vs. Commisssioner, 203F 2d 307.) Ask your tax advisor for more information."
